Went to the delayed harvest area of Tellico main river with friend David. Cold and misty on the way up and of course it started snowing as soon as we got out of the truck.
David and i split up and went up in the gorge below bald river falls. It was gorgeous the water was like gin and up very fast but not unmanageable. Tried one of Gordy's flashy bug things and caught four right off the bat. Then broke off and nothing even twitched the line for the next 4.5 hrs. Caught one more nice 13" rainbow below the falls and an LDR on a brookie before I got out.
Real cold but well worth the effort. David got 2 brookies. Beautiful day on the river.

Carter,
Bald river falls is a beautiful place. Ya need to get a camera. If I can figger out how to use one, a neanderthal like you can do it to.

I would say that getting a few bites in that cold ass .... snow melt water was certainly a treat .. Good job
