Has anybody been to the Tuck since the dam came out? Just wondering how that stretch that was the mud bottom lake looks.

I made it a point to go by there on Sun. I just went to where to dam had been.
I was impressed at the outcropping of bed rock. Now i understand why the dam had been built where it was located.
There were two booms stretched across the river to help, I think with siltation. The river was flowing along quite strongly but I have seen it much worse. It had a good color to it i.e., it was not too cloudy or orange/brown as I have seen before.
I have heard that they are keeping both sides of the upper dam open to let the river flush out. The USGS graph showed that they were generating w both sides all last weekend. I have not looked at the USGS site this week.
IT will be interesting to see how the removal of the dam effects the DH water. I have heard concerns of increased trash fish and tube hatches.
