I've had my mind on terrestrials. If anyone has any reports on fishing them lately, I'd sure like to hear how you did.

Blake look up. More this year than I have seen in a long time.I did ok this past week with a real poor caterpillar imitation. It is pattern I have to improve on.

You're finally right about something Big Guy.....creeks :cry: .

Dave was right about the caterpillars.....with the high winds today, they were a bunch of them floating down the river. I sat on the bank for a while but had to get back in the water because were crawling all over me. These are an inch and a half to two inches long.

Beetle fishing was slow...should have had one of Dave's Cat flies.

while I was snorkeling the waterfall hole at the top of the Country Mile on the Watauga today, I saw a couple of green inchworms rolling across the bottom. also saw one of those fuzzy caterpillars fall into the water & float on down....

the fish were all eating sulphurs though...
