As usual, I packed my fishing gear to head up the Mtn after my Dentist's appt. I figure I am halfway to where I fish, might as well keep going. Did not fish as long as I usually to, just a couple hours. After the last 2 trips and getting home late, I was lucky to get out at all. I figured the lower creeks might be blown out with the recent rain. That was not the case at all. The water was near perfect.

The flies of the day were a hi vis ant and an inchworm dropper. I lost more flies on this trip than I have in a long time. Pretty frustrating way to start off, loosing 2 double rigs in 30 minutes. But I settled down and it got better.

Went to a place I have always heard referred to as God's Country. One winding dirt road in that dead ends. A couple of trails, and one really nice creek. It's a pretty good description if you ask me, God's Country indeed. Here is a short vid. Enjoy.
