This past weekend I headed up to the hills of Haywood Co NC and did alot of fishing a little ways down the steep gorge section of the headwaters of my "gold mine" This creek is amazing. At 4700ft, it is a good avg 20ft wide, strewen with large boulders and open enough to boost a couple 40ft casts to the extra spooky brookies that inhabit it. Here are some choice pix...

That's weird. I was up in Haywood this weekend fishing a few brookie streams. I think I may know where you were, but I was just a few more miles up the road. I love that side of the mountain, for sure. The pools are soooo deep, and the brookies can get pretty thick, too. Thanks! -Knox

Get caught in that T-storm on Saturday? That was all fun 'n games. Waving a lightning conductor!Yeah, The hills are alive up there in a big way. Beautiful. Anytime you want to hit them blue lines, let me know!
