he was right! I went to the Caney fork sunday with my friend Chris the wagon burner. It was his first trip to the CF and my first since last summer.
We did what Gordy said , even tied up some flies like he had shown me last year and bam we had over 20 fish for the boat in the first 1/4 mi.
The runoff from comverging streams clouded up the river below that and we caught a couple more before the water came up high and we motored out.
No monsters but the river was full of happy fish!

Not only is Gordy a snazzy dresser, but he's troutsmart? What a guy indeed! :P

Well that's good news - I thought that river was void of fish from reports that I've seen on the webs this year.

Fishing with a wagon burner, huh? As long as he's not burning any campers or anything crazy like that... :roll:

Just a descriptive term of endearment to distinguish him from a push-to-start, although he is bad to sneak up on ya from behind..
