I carried my wife to Brevard two Fridays ago. I got up and dropped her downtown Saturday morning. I headed to the Davidson to fish for a few hours. The river was wall to wall people. Basically, whenever I could find a pool with no one at home I would catch a fish or two. I more or less fished behind somebody all afternoon. I still caught a couple of decent fish.

This Saturday I headed to the Smith for one last fling with the beetles. I fished for about three hours and caught 20+ fish. I left about six thirty and saw fish eating midges at every bridge on the way home. I was ready to go home and check on all the football news so I did not stop and rerig. I passed on the information to Dean so I am anxiously waiting to see if he hit the bridges this afternoon.

I am planning to go Saturday afternoon if nothing goes wrong. I am going to try a place Scott told me about and then I am heading upstream to try a new midge. I will call you tomorrow!

I fished it again Saturday and the wind was blowing too hard to fish midges--so back to the beatles! I fished for an hour or so and caught about a dozen.
