Knox extended me an invitation yesterday that I just couldn’t refuse…..night fishing with mouse patterns on the SoHo. For those that don’t know, Knox has mastered the sport. He knows where to go, what to use, how to use it, and the results are…. a lot of adrenalin pumping action.

We met on the river last night at 10:45 pm. The next 4 fours were perverted. Knox landed fish after fish after fish. The action was nonstop…yep…I was on the oars and on the net. I tried being the picture taker but my flash wouldn’t work. That’s OK….No show and tell but I have a lot of vivid memories of those big browns crashing Knox’s mouse patterns or sucking them in with loud smacks that sounded just like stripers whacking top water baits.

Knox tried getting me on the rod but I was having too much fun watching him do his thing. If you ever get the invitation, you should go.

Thanks again Knox for showing me how it’s done. We almost had too much fun last night.

It was a good night, one to remember. The bite was fantastic. But I swear it's more challenging to try to get Blake to fish than it is to figure out those browns at night ;) I'm totally dedicated to the night game- there's so much to learn, and the possibility of catching that fish of a lifetime is always just around the corner. If any of y'all want to go out I'd be happy to join you. The SoHo and 'Tauga both fish well at night at low water. Thanks for the shout-out Blake..... it's always fun being with you..... It's mouse thirty here and I'm off on another trip with a buddy from NC. -Knox

Kim- We'll cross paths one of these days. I only made an appearance for a few hours late Fri night at PFF- just long enough to see JT rolling around on the ground....... Looks like I'll be in the area for a while. The lady and I are about to settle down here in Bristol with our first home. -Knox
