This past Saturday Andrew and I got a pass for a few hours to go and fish at Rose River Farm. They were holding a fundraiser for PHW, on hand were an artist displaying his beautiful drawings, a net / rod tube maker and a bamboo rod builder from PA with many rods available to try. Along with some sandwiches were wines for tasting. :) A nice way to spend an early winter afternoon. Rose River Farm opened up their stream for the day and a nominal donation allowed you to fish as long as it was with a bamboo rod. Andrew needed to get the dust off his boo and try it out since FT re wrapped it. The rainbow's were cooperative and put quite a bend in his rod. The 7' 4wt did great and a few were brought to net.
