I am one step behind Ben everywhere I go! Fished the Smith yesterday with Bob. It seems like the river is finally fishing the way it should for this time of year. So far this year, I have been taking a beating from this river , only catching a handful each time out. I have been needing a trip like this!

And for those that have been working with us on the Smith River, you will understand why this fish is the best one of the day. Bob caught this guy just before we left.

They are still doing their thing. These are two of the best fish I have brought to hand on the Smith.
