Hey, don't get me wrong, man. I'm not a purist. I saw some guys flyfishing that were obviously very good casters, one guy that was flailing the water with a fly rod and scaring every fish in front and in back of him, and a couple of spin fishermen. Fine with me.
It was just too crowded for me to rig up and get in.
It's all cool.
BTW-- I checked out some of the spinning rods/reels at the camp. Quality stuff. I have some -- just don't bring 'em to the SoHo.... :D

Thanks Croaker. No worries Phil, I just don't want people to think I'm bringing a bunch of knuckleheads to everyone's favorite river.

I don't consider myself a good caster but I hope I wasn't the flailer...

I think I recognize Cronin from your blog...Shane & I floated through Saturday in my green 2-man inflatable...big man was wearing them out, and the rest of you weren't doing bad either. I think we spoke as we passed you while you were netting a nice brown? Down at the lower end of Rockhold at the bluff hole.

Nice 'crappy little blog' you got going there!

Short
Damn nice footage. Just good photography and beautiful fish.

Next Year you need to come to PFF. We were only 15-20 miles away in a pretty ass place.
We had 35 sub-humanoids jerking trout all over E. Tenn and Virginia.
We had great food from great cooks, Plenty of lies, bad likker, good likker , goat lust and a mountain of flyrodding experience.

But ya gotta leave the spin rodders at home. I am no purist, but it is a fly fishing event.
