Sunday morning on the way to the Soque River we had breakfast at the Batesville General Store on Hwy 197. Service is a little slow but the wait is worth it. Their sign says "the best biscuits in Batesville"... well I guess so, since it is the only place to eat there. LOL. Earlier this year at the Saluda River TU banquet I won this fishing trip with Blackhawk Flyfishing on their private water. It was one of those days.... will not use "EPIC" but it was a great day. Lost count of the number of fish caught! Fish were caught on an olive streamer and Dave Hite's Squirmy Wormie.
