Dec. 9 thru 11, a group of us from SC headed up to Wilson Creek. Could not have asked for better Dec. weather; clear skies, no wind and high temps in the mid 50's. Everyone caught fish, quite a few 16" to 18" and one that was 19". Fish were caught on a variety of flies; egg patterns, squirmie wormy, soft hackles and nymphs fished deep. I had my best luck with a olive gold rib soft hackle. Also got to play with my new 11' nymphing rod which I think I am going to like.
