Every September for the past 15 years a group of 8 guys reunite for a week to fish the Slamon River in upstate NY. It is a tributary that dumps into lake Ontario which holds an annual Salmon run along with trophy Brown's as well as Trophy Steelhead. The journey began with the 12 hour drive from Charlotte, NC to Pulaski, NY as we arrived in town at 9:00 AM after we keft Charlotte at 9:00 the night before. We began fishing around 11:00 AM and shortly afetr began to hokk into Salmon with our 8WT flinging egg flies and meaty streamers. I will let the puictures below tell the rest of the story. A grand time had by all and fishing was slow for what er are used to but still managed to bring home 300 pounds of fillets in the cooler!!!

I was just kidding John....he really did appreciate what you gave him, but I just put a bunch of fish in the freezer for him a week or so ago....bunch of bass and a few slab crappie. Hope you and Cam have a good time this weekend!
