I finally got back out on the stream today. The hike and climbing over deadfall trees was a chore, but brookies were willing (as usual) if you can get to them. 7' 3 weight St. Croix with an elk hair caddis. Lots of tangles in branches that are difficult for me to unravel these days. I had packed my camera, pulled it out, and found that the battery was dead. No pics. The one that I really wanted a picture of was a good 7". Oh, well. You will just have to take my word.

I think that I am going to have to tie a working camera around your neck
