Hey everybody. It's been a long time I know. I just thought of PFF recently and hope to make it out again although I'm slated to move in to a house; May 12 is close date so I doubt it.

Thought I'd post a few from recent creek fishing this past winter & this spring - I've done close to if not more of it in the last year than I did in the eight-plus previous. It's very rewarding and good to get out of earshot of the tv and traffic. I'm blessed to not only have a partner that loves to go and but also to still have the bones to do it.

Thanks JT. That's at end of Road To Nowhere north of Bryson City, NC. We went over to Forney Creek a couple of weekends ago.

Fished one day only & recent rains had the water really high and I had to pick my spots, a lot of moving around to find fishable water. But when I was able to fish it, the activity was pretty good. Caught a handful of 7-8" bows and a little brookie. Of course missed all four of the good sized fish that ate. Took two rods and many times floated a dry then plunged nymph rig. I'll be keeping a closer eye on rainfall as I plan my next trip!

Thanks Ralph, that was earlier this year...my little asian nail guy made the big time and moved off to the big city so if you can recommend anyone else I'd appreciate it; they're looking pretty rough right now...
