Well It's been a weird steelhead season ... the lake ontario tribs have been in great shape and only blown out a few days all autumn. BUT there are not any steelhead in them As my Facebook and Instagram friends know the browns are in the Ontario tribs in really good numbers though ...

The Erie tribs has been a dogs breakfast. Just never know what you're going to get. Several times I have checked the gauges and thought it would be ok I ended up Driving Around Looking at Water... Which by the way is what my wife says so be the title of my autobiography. But the days that were fishable were really good and the streams have been holding a ton of steel.

Sooo... we'll see what the winter and spring of 2019 brings. I really think the steelhead will start to pile up in the Ontario tribs so it should be good.

Thanks JT ... I just steer clear of these guys for eating. They say you can eat one a month with no risk but pregnant women and the elderly shouldn’t eat any. There is a lot of agricultural run off in these streams. I’ve never seen anything odd as far as what you can see but you know ...

Dangnation, Rob. That one post right there has more big fish than I've ever caught, probably. I don't like you anymore. Heheh. 8-)
