I just got back from a couple of days on the SoHo with Anthony Hipps and Jeff Wilkins. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures. I think Jeff has a few, of fish I caught, on his WEB site, but, as far as I know, he didn't take any pictures of me. On a scale of 1 to 10, the fishing was a 4 or 5. A number of fish were caught, but nothing really noteworthy.

Anyway, with all the rain we've had, the lake is high, so they are sluicing. When we got there on Sunday, it was a moderate 600cfs, but they kicked it up to 1300cfs by evening. Then on Monday, around mid afternoon, they kicked it up to 2600cfs, for an hour, before going to 3000cfs. The projections are now for 3000+cfs until further notice.

There are a few places, where you can stand in the edges and fish, but for the most part, wading the SoHo is out until they get the lake level down a bit. Just a heads up.

Yep. Water's too high on both of 'em for me to fish right now. We're supposed to get yet another round of heavy rain tonight and all day tomorrow. Durn.

The Watauga is running red and in the woods. Stoney came over 91 in a couple places. The Doe is red and running mad dog.
