Went to the Mitchell Yesterday... great day to be out. Took the dog and made a day of it.

Got there aroubd 8:00 and the place was packed, and the fish have been hit hard. Fishing was slow, with subtle takes until......

The white woolly bugger curtesy of Colin McStreamer....caught a half dozen in the last hour... first time I have fished one... definetly won't be the last...

Saw the game warden, he was checking licenses, said he busted 9 people last weekend there fishing worms and corn.... He said Sunday nights are the worst down there. He has even been catching folks in the Hatchery waters. Evidently they have some new judges up that part of the state and they do not take to poachers.... good new for sure...Mike Hutchins was the Officers name and he gave me his cell number to give to those who may want it... He flat out said he needs the good fishermans help.

I was glad to see him out!
