This time of summer I end up in a pattern 2 or 3 evenings a week-- eat dinner, grab rod, get in the car, drive 1 mile, fish the sunset for gills and bass, get home at 8:30 p.m. The fish generally only bite good from 7:30-- 8:15 or so (the regulations say 1/2 hour before sunset I gotta quit). There are worse ways to spend the evening. :D
Here are two trip pics combined -- I only take a few pics each time.

Grand stuff Phil.
Having a local pond to while away a few minutes is special!

Green and yellow are almost universally the best colors. When I first started throwing a Bully about 15-20 years ago , I tried every color you could imagine -- Orange, purple, blue, white ,etc, etc and came to the yellow/green conclusion after throwing all the other colors. I also like grey with a yellow stripe down the back on occasion.
I cleaned a big gill one day and it had 11 green inch worms in it's stomach. Here's your sign !!!!!
