Usually I don't get interested in smallies this early but all this hot weather put em on my mind. Fished hard yesterday with Flydoctor for some wild stuff. Today just wasn't in a trout mood. So we took off looking for some likely water. I have said I wouldn't drive more than 15 minutes for a small mouth. Take that back :)

Throwing my favorite Clouser version. Here's one close to the rest of the pack and camera.

Caught pretty bunch of fish. No monsters but still please for the first go of the year so far :P

Nice to see the bite starting. Nice one Brad!! Can't wait to get after the smallies this year. Didn't even get the toon on the water last year :cry: But I'll wait until the shad and rockfish run is over ;)
