And just for the hell of it

Gill fished for 4 days and it was absolutely "ON". We caught several hundred(mebbe 300) keeper gills and had a big batch of smoked gills on Saturday night
Best bait was a lime green Bully. 2nd was a solid yellow Bully

Good job, JT.

I just committed to tying a bully or two for the Cape Lookout Fly Fishers in several weeks. I sure miss fishing with you, hearing you chew me out for f'ng up. Dang, I miss it.

I continue to work on a trip to Phelps Lake. It may beyond awesome. Water is up this year, am going in several weeks.

John: What size and type hook are you tying them with? I got so many, and have not tied any in so long, I can't remember what we used.

Again, great post.

Great report, looks like I need to go to Badin, I love that kind of fishing. Never been to Phelps but always wanted to.

At that point, Trickey was still drunk (11:30 AM). Sobered up later that afternoon, but could not fish,so I took Brodie while Trick slept it off
