Fished the 'Dead Sea', Norman, today with several of the guys on here today. We were out searching for 'Gills'. What a good day it was. It was not a perverse day, as we all expected, and wanted. But it was good! We caught a bunch of dinks and found a few bass. I watched a nice one play a fishing veteran!!!! Stone's bully fly was the ticket!!!! I had never really fished it before but man waht a bream killer!!! Thanks Stone for turning so many of us on to this pattern!!! I look forward to fishing it again soon! Just can't wait for the big girls to get up and active!!!

Fishing the Bully takes a lot of practice and a pair of polarized glasses

Several of the guys have fished a Bully with me over the last couple -3 years and watching it done really decreases the learning curve.
Of course, tying a Bully with legs on it that you can see is the most important aspect to catching fish on this bait. When fishing a chain-eye Bully or a leaded Bully,it does not matter much what color the legs are because you cannot see the bait down deep anyway.

The best colors typically are insect green, lime, chartreuse, olive, yellow and varigated (yellow and black). Bamboo10 and I had some luck on a dun colored Bully with a yellow streak down its back with yellow legs.

Wilke--- as you know -- one of my greatest thrills is turning others on to a great bait or technique and having them really get bit using it.

Thanks

Stone-Man
