Finally had a good day on Neuse and Swift Creek. No shellcrackers, but I stayed on top and caught several dozen small bream, 6 or seven this size, and four 12-14 inch largemouths. After having a number of small bream hit, that size bass is awesome.

The bass sure did look healthy. All of the larger bream were just like this one.

Notice the bronze above this guy's eyes.

Store bought poppers did naught. Caught all on self tied Anthony Hipp poppers.

Supposed to go fish outgoing tied at Beaufort Inlet about 4-5pm, but pretty much out of gas at the moment. Blond clousers have been producing down there.

Going to Phelps tomorrow, if wind forecast is reasonable.
