LM Bass starting to stage for spawning around my house. Crappies have moved to shallow water, but not real aggressive yet. Bluegills are nesting in ponds and backwaters.

I really just put this here to start a thread in an empty section, as Kim requested, but it's all accurate nonetheless. At least in my neck of the woods.

Yes indeedy! Them fishes are acting happy with all of their flopping around ON TOP of the water! It's good to see after looking at a still pond for a few long months!

A couple years ago I asked what it was that seemed to make the water boil in small spots... I think I found out lately... bluegill! I have no idea what they're doing but I do know if you cast a bug in the thick of the commotion you end up with a 'gill!

When are you gonna visit Ma again, Streamer?
