Also, Black Hula Poppers. Devils Horse and Lucky 13's for spinnin' gear.

Big dark poppers, sliders or woolly buggers on the fly.

Fish 'em slow....

I've had a couple blow up on a mouse too. Especially around downed trees. All of my mouse caught bass have come from downed trees.

Jason...the two biggest bass I've caught in the pond both came on a mouse....in the shallows....not right next to a tree...but nearby...plenty of stumps around too. Both fish breached the 10lb mark...and I would'nt hesitate to say the larger of the two was in excess of 12 lbs!

If all these fools comin' down for the "romp in the swamp" don't get too over-intoxicated.....I'm hoping we can find a few in the middle of the night....I'm ramped to try it again!! :D
