Had a great couple hours on the lake this morning. Took the kayak out. Sorry, no pics. I was not totally convinced I would not take a swim. :? Caught a bunch of bream, some warmouths, and one bass. Missed a bass that swirled like he was a big urn. Took a shot at a carp, but he did not like my silly little bream fly. I think I'll be spending more time back on the lake this summer. :D

Good work getting your Kayak set up for the maiden voyage, Jason. Looking good.

If the NPS would allow kayaks on the lake that is two minutes from my house, I'd get one in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, they won't even allow float tubes.

Well, that answers a question for me. I was wondering about those lakes you tend to fish and boats. I know Price allows them, but that's not saying much. There's not real rhyme or reason to the park service sometimes.

I'm kicking around getting a real kayak seat. The one I have worked OK, and it's free. But my left foot kept going numb. Not fun. Might have been the seat bunching up around my hips.
