Yes, there are smallies in the Broad. I caught a few up near cherokee dam a few years back.

Don't listen to JT...there are no smallmouth in the Broad....just tiny green sunfish and chubs.....stick to fishing the Catawba and other sewer tribs of Charlotte. :twisted:
