Bluegill are still one of my favorite quarry (that may be just behind smallies now).

I just came in from fishing for about 45 minutes on the pond....slow for the most part cause of the storms...but hit a nice little pocket where I caught a half dozen fat gills and a 5 pound bass....and towards the back I caught two crappie ....all on an oversized japanese beetle pattern. No pics...forgot to take my camera.


P.S. lightning bolts over the pond suck!! :o
