If they ever stop runnin water....this is the second time they've said they were gonna slow generation or even stop it.....only to continue with even greater generations.

Maybe once they draw the lakes down to winter pool they'll stop.....then its on like donkey kong!!! :D

'Fore you know it, you'll have hog fish grubbing around in your garden....

Uncommon wet this summer. I never did get all the garden dug up. Falls Lake is full, but they haven't had to dump water is a couple of weeks. I just can't seem to get out much to go fishing.

I have to admit....on the bright side of things....the pond is already back up to being about 12" shy of full after the riser collapse......but damn I'd like to go smallie fishin' so bad it hurts! :(

Fishing has pretty much been a bust this entire summer. NC has seen rain nearly every weekend. Record floods, 6th wettest year on record. 3rd coolest summer on record in CLT area.
But- that has kept a lot of people off the creeks and the water temps down. There are quite a few trout left in the creeks . Trout fishing at the smallie show and last weekend I caught 10 in 4 hours on Helton Creek. Not bad for August!
