Cumberland River @ Gallatin Steamplant, Don is right, below 45 degrees they are history. Baked them for the tacos with spices/butter. Takes about 50 of'em to feed four.
They washed in a couple years ago from high water, someone was farming them for sale, i've caught a few a little bigger than that, fishing 2' below the indicator seems to get the bigger ones, started slicing the smaller ones & feeding other fish.
Evidently, the eggs have a high reproduction rate & breeding every 30 days put;'s a bunch in there.
Not sure how far they'll spread once the water warms, it averages 60+ at the steamplant this time of year.
