 Post subject: It's not warm yet

OK, so the air is warm, birds are singing and flowers are blooming, but the warm water streams aren't warm yet.

I took a couple of hours to go over to the Eno River and check it out. The white bass will begin running soon, but not yet. The water was low, for this time of year, and as clear as I have ever seen it. I checked several holes, where I usually catch fish, and talked to other anglers. No one was having any luck. I think the water is still too cold. I didn't have my stream thermometer with me, so I can't be sure, but the water on my legs felt like trout water!

I did manage to get one small fish, a green sunfish, I think, and I did have several more bites, but only one fish to hand.
