Went over to the C/R pond that Niagara River Anglers Association members have access to for the first real time this morning. Paddled around for a couple hours with my wife and picked up a few on streamers. It was a beautiful day today. We've had a very wet spring but things are getting back to normal. I'm not going to rant much but man I was pi$$ed when I got there. The garbage is there already. I picked up an empty worm carton, beer cans, plastic bag and an empty pack of smokes. WTF the place is members only... why would you litter like that let alone using natural bait in a C/R pond.

Got there early

Damn, That pisses me off also. Hard to believe that a member would trash the pond. Shit like that is the reason that no trespassing signs are everywhere. There is a stream in Greene county that the TWRA has stopped stocking because of all the no trespassing signs that have gone up in the last few years.
Of course it may not have been a member. Just some jerk poacher.

Yeah JT I hope it was a trespasser. It's got a locked gate but there are ATV trails all over so who knows. Last season at the end of the summer some A-hole burnt 2 of the picnic tables one of the members had donated. I'm bringing a plastic bag with me now to pick up the mess. :(
