If anyone has ever wanted to fish for tailing red fish, this weekend marks the beginning of about a ten day period of tailing tides. Check your local tide tables for info on the area you are going to fish.

These are the dates and times for St. Simons:
Friday, 8/6--7.8 tide at 5:30
Saturday, 8/7--8.1 tide at 6:30PM
Sunday, 8/8--8.5 tide at 7:25
Monday, 8/9--8.7 tide at 8:18

Wednesday, 8/11--8' tide at 9:00 AM
Thursday, 8/12--8.1 tide at 10:30 AM
Friday, 8/13--8.1 tide at 11:28
Saturday 8/14--8' tide at 12:25 PM
Sunday, 8/15--7.8 tide at 1:23 PM

The morning tides are particularly good because the wind is down, the water is flat so you can see the fish better.
