Red fishing this weekend with Paul Rose, Alan Dozier and Adam Dozier.  Paul got stuck with me in his boat. We had a great time. As the young people would say, the trip was epic. The older folks might say perverted. As far as I am concerned, the trip was epically perverted.

Tailing fish, mudding fish, moving fish, sneaking the boat through grass, poling across 6 inches of water, etc.   At times, there were thousands of fish near the boat.  When they decided to eat, it was game on.

Carp fishing on some of the local lakes proved to be a great way to practice for the trip. Here are a few photos:

I'll add a couple of photos from our boat. Unfortunately, I had engine problems and had to stay closer to the ramp and use the trolling motor or pole so didn't get back where Paul and Aaron went. We still got into some fish both days. I may have talked myself into a new boat after seeing how well they did!
