I'm trying to find a 7 wt. rod, medium-fast to fast. Maybe a St. Croix Legend Ultra or a rod with a tip speed like that. Whatcha got?

I have the Legend Ultra in a 7 wt and you aren't getting it! I love that rod.

I think St Croix might be discontinuing this rod. Look around- you can probably get a good deal on one right now.

yea Beetle the Legend Ultra has been discontinued and replaced by the rods that were designed by Kelly Galloup(BANK ROBBER & HIGH STICK DRIFTER) I sure hope the ultra goes on sale everywhere because I would love a truck load.Sorry streamer to step on your thread.

I have a 9 ft. 2 piece 7 wt. blank from Sevier if you want to build one. Same company as the switch rod you built.

I bought a 9' #7 (4 pc) TFO BVK from Mr. Griggs last season. The rod was a "show special", no case but new, for well under $200. It's light, fast, well appointed and has the b***s needed to throw heavy streamers on big water from a boat. A very good rod indeed. Goofy shooting/stripping guides...

I traded an older Orvis 6 wt. for an older Quarrow 7 wt. Quarrow used to make rods for folks like LL Bean and Cabelas, etc., and for a year or two tried to enter the market with their branding. It didn't turn out well, but the rod is a nice one and the action fits my casting stroke.

Thanks to all of you for the offers and suggestions.
