Hey guys sorry if you all know this already but I just stumbled across some fly line. I was over in Canada yesterday and stopped at Bass Pro. A line there caught my eye. It's a line that's only 55 feet long. If you're like me on small trout streams you don't use more than 25 foot of line. Also if you're like me you think fly lines are out of control as far as price goes. It's a neat idea and I bought a 2wt to see how it works. This line was only $22 Canadian ... which I think is about 17 bucks US. And the kicker? It's DT! So in a few years flip it around and you have a fresh line. Basically 2 line for less than 20 bucks.

That seems to be a really good deal----especially for your creek rod. Just put a lot of backing on there (to bulk up the spool) and fire away.
$22 is absurdly low. Glad that you are going to field test it for us  I use Wulff Triangle Taper which I am 100% sold on .but it is about $80 per spool now.
I am having trouble figuring out how a Mfr can produce line that cheaply and still make a quality line and make a profit on top of it.

Hope that you did not waste $22 .

hey guys... I checked my credit card and $22 Canadian is about $17.50 US. Then I checked BPS website and they have it in the States for $19. Still a great price. I tested it out yesterday and I'll post a stream report.
