I have many 5 weight rods (Orvis, Winston, St.Croix, TFO), and can't cast any of them. :D

I like a certain soft 5wt 10ft rod that I recently had break  . I'll tell you the name after I find another on ebay.

Since it's been said that Its not the arrow its the Indian, I skip the rod altogether. It's more organic that way.

For instances when I really need a rod for trout, the 8.5', 4 weight Winston BIIx is my favorite.

At the moment, my favorite rod is a Winston 8 1/2' #4. I liked a Fenwick 8 1/2' #5 "Iron Feather" for awhile, another Winston 8 1/2' #5 IM6 before that, Browning "Silaflex" before that...

Plus, I even piss Blake off with it

Favorite rod is an 8 1/2 ft St Croix Legend Ultra

I still prefer my older rods. My favorite is a 9' Sage RPL+, 4 wt. If I want to go heavier, I use a Sage 9', GFL, 5wt.
I also like my Winston 8 1/2 for 5 wt and for smaller waters, an 8ft. 3in, 4 wt., both older rods.
