A buddy was dead lining chicken guts for cats and stripers near where the Watauga flows into Boone Lake and caught a 4-5 lb brown on those guts.

Couple a strange ones I've heard about or seen...

A buddy and his yankee girlfriend were Catfishing with chicken liver off a railroad trestle in the Ogeechee River and she caught a big 5#+ American Shad

Me and my Dad caught a 3#+ Flounder on a trot line baited with secret recipe dough balls in the Savannah River @ 40 miles upstream from the coast :o

Don, the flounder is downright impressive. Why did your buddy have a Yankee girlfriend?

That's the real question. I can tell you from experience that they are bad, bad news. Mine convinced me that single life is the way to go... ;)

I've seen bonefish eat the stuff we toss over while we're cleaning fish. Perhaps the term "opportunistic feeder" comes to mind, JT.
