After a wonderful TU meeting last night(thanks Bugman), I came straight home and finished packing to hit the road early this morning. My wife is from Dublin, GA so we regularly make the 8hr drive down to the land of fire ants, knats, and humidity to visit family. Fortunately for me, her family has access to several nice farm ponds so I get to play in the warmwater for a change!

These guys are fun on a 5wt! :D

Dang, you should have come by Unicoi St. Park for the SEC-FFF Fly Fishing Festival. We were there on the 3rd and 4th. It would have made in-laws much easier to take....

Nice fish, by the way. Love the bend a bass puts in a flyrod.

Oddly enough, I didn't take any pictures of the bluegill we were catching. They didn't waste any time going into the live well!
I did snap a few shots of the crappie we were catching. These are the first speck I have ever caught on a fly rod!

I also had the opportunity to fish with the wife on this trip. We hardly have a chance to go together anymore with a little two year old. But on this trip the family scooped the little one up and we had a little free time to hit the water!
