OK recanting my statement. If Judy does not charge, then how can it be breaking the rules?? Nice, really nice. I need to meet this fellow one day.

If I heard right the deal is if he starts setting a fee then he will have to fulfill some responsibilities with the county, the place will have to be more ahem... official?. If he keeps it open as it is and people just leave money in the bucket he dont have to worry about that. I guess it is a thin dance between getting paid and having to pay... At any rate, I would call him, telling when/how and what and let him give me a suggestion of what the donation should be....

I paid him $15/night (my idea) when I camped there this summer. For that, he also brought me down firewood for two nights. Campsites in the National Parks are $20/night, so I thought it was a deal. He can use the money -- his health is in danger (he needs a liver transplant).

Juddy is a good guy....and $15 or $20 a night to camp right on the river is'nt too much as Phil said.

Sounds like a place we all would enjoy visiting...for a few reasons. As always, thanks for the information, gents.
