Hi everyone. My name is Don Kirk. I have been an avid trout fisherman since 1959. I look forward to getting to know other board members. I live in Montevallo, AL, but home is East Tennessee. I grew up in a place called Morristown. The waters of GSMNP, Cherokee National Forest, and TVA tailwaters such as the South Holston, Clinch and Little T is where I cut my teeth.
Check out my first attempt at a free, online Southern only Trout Magazine at http://www.SouthernTrout.com/mag. Tell me what you think! I look forward to the give and take about Southern Trout fishing.

Welcome. Glad to see some Alabama folks on here. My parents live in Pelham and my sister lives in Mountain Brook (at least until they can sell their house; they are relocating to Nashville). I lived there during summers and holidays in the late 80's and fished Oak Mtn State Park every now and then, but that was before my fly rod days.

Nice magazine. Thanks.

Welcome. Very nice magazine. Is that a premier issue or has it been around awhile? Impressive group of editors and contributors.

Nice magazine. I noticed my old friend Bo Cash with his best trout from the Watauga tailrace in the good old days and a review of his book.
Welcome!

Pushed the wrong button. Where's Ralph when you need him?

Welcome to the campfire Don. Pull up a chair and relax. Great magazine. Is this available still?
