Jason,

Have you ever floated the John's.

I fished it about 10 years back and there are some stupid big smallmouth in there.
I never hooked one of the bigguns ,but caught a few of the dinks.

I would also like to know something about that river. Pass it on the way to Wilson Creek and have always wondered if it was a good smallie stream?

No, I've never fished or floated it. But now that I have a buddy with a kayak it's on my to do list. Have you talked to Bo about it?

A lot of low water Bridges along Hwy 90. I would say your better bet would be from Collettsville down.Not sure of where to take out.

Check out a delorme.
I looked at a take out right past the 1st bridge downstream and it would be an easy take out. Definitely start at Collettsville . looks like about 3-4 miles
