There is a section along the road with "No Trespassing" signs nailed to just about every tree. Does anyone know if the property extends across the creek or can you wade through okay?

If the same owner owns the land on the other side. Stay out

That property is owned by Pat Holmes. (White House across street). Stop in and ask him if you can fish there. He usually grants anyone especially if they have a fly rod.

Met Pat on FRI. Nice guy.
Likes fly fishermen, especailly if you pick up trash on the creek.
Of course, knows JT.
Eager wild fish. Not picky.

All very good to know. Thanks.

Were you one of the guys I talked to Friday in the church parking lot?

We must not have met. My wife and I drove up in a green Cherokee and chatted a few minutes with 3 guys from NC. Don't remember what kind of vehicle they were in, though it might have been an expedition.
