I have a friend that want's to float from the Dam to Twin Bridges in a drifter, is it doable or are there still some sketchy areas they may require dragging the boat?

Thanks
Grumpy

If you are talking about the twin bridges in the Town of Watauga where there is a take out.
That is one helluva long float.
If you are going on low water, there is a stretch about 1/2 miles below the Siam Bridge where they will have to drag the boat for about 75 yards. But it is not a bad drag

I would suggest that if they want to put in at the dam.... they should take out at Blevins road.

That float is plenty for one day

No
Blevins road is about 8-10 miles downstream from there. We took Kyle out at Siam Bridge
