It got up to 52 degrees this afternoon ,so I took a walk down Stoney Creek without a rod in hand. There were some very small midges coming off along with some black stones in about a size #20. There were hundreds upon hundreds of trout in the 3-5 inch range feeding on top in every pool. Damn impressive to my eyes, which means that the recovery is in full swing now. And obviously we had enough water the last couple winters to insure a good spawn. Really encouraging for sure.
The summer fishing should be big fun this year !!

Good news indeed! Glad you have some seed coming along there and glad to hear you are out doing your normal stuff. We're loaded up with water down here and they're calling for more rain this week.

Grand to hear Stoney and you are recovering!

Just started rainin' down here again. Can't complain as we need it.
Have had 2 good wet years and the fish in the Ogeechee were the best I've
seen in close to 20 years.
