I like having rules about what fish you can keep, but if your like myself and only fish the Soho maybe once a year.... I say keep EVERYTHING that's big enough to eat.

Get TWRA to shock & spread the fish out, that isn't healthy as mentioned for the over all population.
It is great news knowing that they are thriving though.

Yea, if Croaker will bring his truck with all those big coolers, we can all help fill them up.

The Smith has had this problem for years. I keep a few every time I go. It helps the overall health of the river. The slot limit on the river is starting to work. Also, it kinda reminds me this isn't a game we are playing. I am honest enough to admit it, I have to kill something edible from time to time. I am not a PETA person! I typed some of this with my 11 week old grandson in my lap. Try doing that the next time you are bored! I gave up and laid him on the bed. I guarantee you he will be a predator. I checked his trigger finger out the day he got home from the hospital. I then made sure his left hand was all right to strip fly line with. In all seriousness this is just simple biology. Every habitat has a carrying capacity. You exceed it and stuff shrinks.
