Anybody know if the tailwaters would be wadable Sat? What has been the pattern lately?

Rained like hell here last night and the creeks are high.
They are not running the Watauga right now, ,but it depends on how much water those 2 lakes are getting from the headwaters today. Only suggestion that I can give you is to call the TVA line tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks JT

I am coming up to Kingsport Sat am to meet someone for brief bit. Then looking for something to do the rest of the day.

Hoping to go to the little lake above the small dam on the Watagua and slow drift midges over the grass. hoping there.

The Watauga in Elizabethton was dirty today, but clearing. I have no idea about how Wilbur Lake is fishing. Or the SOHO. But a BWO nymph should work now

I got to go up to Wilbur yesterday. Cold and windy. 35 deg at start. A little wind snow. There was enough current to slowly drift a tiny over the grassy edges. Caught a few fish. One particularly nice. Good trip out.

Thanks for the intel. It made the day :)
