Well lets see what you can tie up with peacock herl. Can be nymph, dry, streamer, what ever, but it has to have the herl.

Dang, Dude! That's really well done.
I like the lots of hackle idea, and minimizing the calftail wing to just being a "fly-sighting device" for all us old farts who can't see the fly on the water.

That is what you would call McVery good. Long ago---someone told me....."someday you will see what you are looking at" and it took a long time to understand what he was saying.You have talent and it shows by the way you tie what you see inside of your head.Some of us have ideas but cant put it on a hook.You have shown us this in a couple of years... looking for the next one.Be safe
