I made a crude wing burner for a caddis dry this evening.

The material is taking the dry sheet material and coloring it then burning a shape.

A lot of refinement and testing. Testing is the fun part to me. You can never over test a weird idea in my opinion :D

Test and evaluation. Looked pretty good in the water. Needs to be thinner top to bottom. Shave the burners shape some and try again.

Ever tried twisting a dryer sheet to make a dubbing rope?

i think the shape is wrong. if it was in a vertical position, it would be a mayfly wing

caddis

I agree it needs to be thinner top to bottom. More of a caddis shape.
